Copywriting

Industry: Health and Wellness

Client: Physician's Toxicology

The Goal: This laboratory wanted to educate physicians and medical providers about their innovative small blood volume testing solution for drug addiction patients.

Published in a medical journal.

Industry: Pet Health and Wellness

Client: Happy Dog Boutique

The Goal: Educate the target audience, dog owners who need grooming for their dogs, about the importance of regular grooming and brushing to prevent mats.

Industry: E-commerce / Pet Health and Wellness

Client: Happy Dog Boutique

The Goal: Happy Dog Boutique partnered with Luca Pets and wanted to increase brand awareness because Happy Dog shifted to focusing more on nutrition and wellness.

The blog post received above-average engagement on Happy Dog's social channels!

Industry: E-commerce / Pet Health and Wellness

Client: Happy Dog Boutique

The Goal: Happy Dog Boutique wanted to inform dog parents of the importance of organ meat in their pet's diet. It delves into the benefits of organ meat and then suggests an easy product solution that is available at Happy Dog.

There were increased purchases of organ meat treats after this blog was shared.

Industry: Pet Health and Wellness

Client: Happy Dog Boutique

The Goal: Happy Dog Boutique wanted to educate dog owners about their popular service: anesthesia-free teeth cleaning. This blog explains why professional teeth cleaning is important for dog heath, and talks about the procedure at Happy Dog.

Industry: Pet Health and Wellness

Client: Happy Dog Boutique

The Goal: Alopecia is the clinical term for abnormal hair loss in dogs. Happy Dog Boutique wanted to highlight this common health concern and advise what natural solutions are available at the boutique to treat it.

Industry: Education / Parenting

Client: Sylvan Learning

The Goal: Sylvan wanted to find a way to genuinely address the events of summer 2020. Since they're an educational brand, I pitched the angle of providing guidance and resources for how to talk to children about race and antiracism.

The blog post was very well received and largely shared by parents on Sylvan's social channels.

Industry: Education / Parenting

Client: Sylvan Learning

The Goal: Sylvan wanted to provide tips for parents of English as a Second Language (ESL) students. I interviewed multiple subject matter experts before writing this informative piece. And, because many of our ESL students are first-generation English speakers, we had to blog translated into Spanish for parents whose first language is Spanish.

The blog post was very well received and largely shared by parents on Sylvan's social channels.

Industry: B2B

Client: Sylvan Learning

The Goal: Sylvan's corporate marketing team wanted to compile a few tips for local franchisees to get the most out of their social media during a national spring assessment campaign.

The guide got a lot of positive feedback from the franchisee community.

Industry: Education

Client: Sylvan Learning:

The Goal: All Sylvan leads received nurture campaigns that included an offer on their proprietary assessment. Originally, the email's CTA was to call their local center. But we wanted to easily track interested parents, so I wrote this landing page to accompany the emails so we could track form completions.

This landing page performed 30% better, in terms of completions than previous iterations of this offer's landing page.

Industry: Health and Wellness

Client: Eversense

The Goal: The Eversense E3 CGM launch went to market with the Break Free campaign. I wrote 3 different banner ad versions for physicians and patients to support their launch.

These ads were run on websites that physicians and patients frequented.

Editing

Editing

Industry: Education

Edited For: Sylvan Learning

The Goal: This landing page dynamically populated the nearest Sylvan Learning Center's contact information and was used across the web for paid search results.

Industry: Health and Wellness

Edited For: Eversense

The Goal: I professionally edited the sales deck the Eversense E3 CGM team planned to use to market their product to physicians and doctors. The sales deck was created to show medical professionals why they should offer this CGM to patients in their practices.

Email

Email

Industry: Health and Wellness

Client: Afrezza

The Goal: For insulin's 100th birthday, the Afrezza Team wanted to send a marketing email that showed the progression of insulin in the last 100 years, and tout how Afrezza, their fast-acting,  inhalable mealtime insulin, was a significant improvement and beneficial tool for those living with diabetes. I wrote, edited, and weighed in on design choices for the email.

This email had above-average open rates.

Industry: Health and Wellness

Client: Eversense

The Goal: The Eversense E3 CGM launched with the Break Free campaign. I wrote 2 different email versions for their different audiences (physicians and patients) to support their email strategy. The Eversense Team wanted these emails to highlight their 6 key differentiators in the Continuous Glucose Monitoring system sphere, which all boiled to long-term convenience so people living with diabetes could live life how they wanted.

These emails were to be A/B tested.

Industry: Education

Client: Sylvan Learning

The Goal: Parents who had inquired at a local Sylvan center and had a child in grades K-8 received this in the fall for the First Report Card Campaign. It was an offer-based email. I suggested A/B testing the offer's CTA placement in the email.

The higher-up CTA received more clicks, but the form submissions between the 2 CTAs were similar.

Industry: B2C

Client: Actalent

The Goal: Actalent’s business model is centered around retaining consultants, re-deploying them to career-advancing work, and supporting their individual goals. Once consultants have been with Actalent for 6 months, they are inducted into the first tier of the legacy program and receive this email. The email tells me about their new perks.

I used dynamic content to create one email with both the English and French copy blocks, cutting down on versions for each consultant-level campaign. Additionally, throughout my improvements, I noticed a key flaw in the list-building process and worked with the Tech Team to fix the issue.

Industry: B2C

Client: Actalent

The Goal: The Actalent quarterly Talent Newsletter is sent to all engineering & sciences consultants with 6+ months tenure. The newsletter provides career tips and tools, highlights coworkers' cool projects and achievements, showcases open positions, and reinforces Actalent's brand identity.

After each newsletter, I reviewed open rates, clicks, and time spent on the  email (via Litmus tracking). Then I would compile and report the data to the Team to make data-based decisions for the next edition. View other editions below.

Industry: B2C

Client: Actalent

The Goal: Consultants with 10+ years of tenure at Actalent were invited to a special, all-expenses-paid Ambassador Council in Annapolis, MD. The email was sent to just under 200 consultants who met the tenure criteria. The goal of the Ambassador Council was to learn from employees who had been working with Actalent for years, get their thoughts on what’s working, and what could be improved, and show the Ambassadors that Actalent truly cares about them and their careers. Plus, showcase upcoming initiatives.

Actalent had 15 people attend the event and received incredibly positive feedback about it.
